I'm Back....

Doug, Mom, Dad and I went to Ohio to have Thanksgiving with Suzanne and Bill. We left on Monday and got home last night. We had great weather both driving days and the roads were fine. It's a long way but well worth the trip. The Bergs are well and Suzanne is in the "middle" of her course work. If she stands on her tip toes she can see the Ph.D in her future. Bill is working hard and is waiting for a launch of an airline website updates with his fingerprints all over it.

As for the Tramps we too have been busy and having fun, a few weeks ago Karla hosted a SU party with Susan, Here are some of the cards Susan brought form "founders circle"

I love the cherry cobbler and old olive colors!

this card his a beautiful shabby chic look!!

Merry Christmas, it would be easy to knock out 10 or so of a look like this.

Shabby Chic Christmas

Everyone has a "tree" stamp to adapt for this look.

The flower is make from circle of taffeta then hit with a heat took and fluffed up.

Sweet snowflakes

Fabric sewn on the card face

Krinkle paper flower

Clean look.

Love this look!

Then it was PENGUIN DAY 2010.

Mary's card featured a quik cuts Penguin that we topped with a festive Holiday hat, isn't he a cutie.

Lois shared a Pengie family, the card base was embossed using a snowflake folder then a top note die cut from the center, on the light blue base snow banks were created with torn paper, the "mama penguin" was cut away from the others and popped up and a snowflake embellishment attached, "Papa penguin" was given come collar buttons and placed on the snow bank. A piece of dotted cellophane was placed on the inside of the card then the blue/snowbank/penguin paper on that and that formed the front of the card.

Paulette had kits that created a Penguin or Snowman snow globe, I opted for the Snowman (shocking I know)

My first card used and Amuse Pengie and layers of paper.

My second idea created a mug that a cocoa packet can be placed in,

Hope to see you all soon!!

Love

Cindy
